Third Devlog || Assets, More Mechanics, and Bosses.
Hiya! We got great news!
Dotara is faster in development that ever before, gears are moving, and heavy progress is being done everyday. We have added many mechanics into the game I think everyone will find very interesting. I am incredibly excited to share this information with you, the brainstorming google document has been up for about 2 days, and has nearly 800 words written. I'll go over the main mechanics, and for the best part, the assets we have created inside of the game itself.
Monster Mechanics:
- For one monster, you’ll be required to hit arrow keys on your keyboard, each monster could be stronger than the other, having more notes, and making the speed of the notes faster.
- Each monster is weak to each element, let’s say you have a water based character, a monster that specializes in fire won’t be able to put it out, and will take critical damage. However, you need to do a back to back character fighting mechanic, so you can’t spam that one character.
- Another monster, you will need to jump over his obstacles. Be sure to time them well, because if you miss, it takes 1/5th of your health away.
